Kittens
Jane, a high school senior saving money for college, stumbles upon the New York Pussy Cat Club and suddenly finds herself wearing cat ears, a fluffy tail, and a tight costume, serving the most powerful men in town alongside her fellow Kittens, Shirley and Victoria. Shirley and Victoria were promised that this job would get them discovered as an actress or model. When their boss, Kitten Mother, announces that Pussy Cat Enterprises will soon release a magazine with one lucky Kitten the cover, Shirley and Victoria work their tails off to get noticed by the head of the magazine, but the club may not be as modern as it seems.

Reviews
Kittens is a very smart musical about how three girls in the late 60s dealt with problems that haunt women even today still – and does so in a style that feel effortless and never heavy-handed. - Peyton Ashby
From start to finish, there is a perfect balance, keeping the audience laughing and smiling between the heavier beats; I found myself giggling one moment, and tearing up the next. The music is carefully threaded throughout the hour and so well delivered, time flew by. - Gina Simone
Starts off upbeat, funny and crazy then flips into a deep and profound construct. Well written, directed and performed. The writer and composer, Annika Hoseth, is a shining light for the theatre community! - Pamela Meek
I’m so glad these young artists are tackling such big subject matter – with such elan! Was very happy to dwell in their humor, musicality and pathos. Lots of great energy, commitment and content. The subject matter is always compelling and I enjoyed the way the show gave us four distinct perspectives in the four characters. - Laural Meade
I appreciate the spirited songs throughout the show, in conjunction with incredibly important and relevant themes to identity and pressure through this rich historical lens. - Ryan Lisman
‘Kittens’ is a bold, adorable, funny, and shocking. You have a sense of where it’s heading and then are breathless when it actually goes there. - Danny Gendron
